YOUCARE Lab
Climate Change and the Right to Education for Youth

The YOUCARE Lab (a 2-year project) empowers the young people in the Global Campus-Right Livelihood Child Leadership team to learn about, document and take action against the risks, barriers and impacts of climate change on their right to education. In this project, children are not only recipients of learning through knowledge and skills sharing, but also active participants and co-designers of outputs / actions. The project foresees workshops for children, a crowdsourced virtual photo exhibition, a digital monitoring guide and community-based advocacy campaign.

Welcome to the YouCARE Online Photo Exhibition!

In the second phase of the YouCare LAB, we aim to communicate how climate change is affecting the right to education — using images, videos, or creative visuals. In true participatory spirit, this crowdsourced virtual photo exhibition collects images taken by the members of the GC Child Leadership Team and Youth Advisory Group in their communities.

Our hope is to offer a model for learning, documenting and advocating on the protection of the right to education from the impact of climate change.
